Is Fallout 76 A Single Player RPG or a Multiplayer Game?…Well…

Is Fallout 76 A Single Player RPG? After yesterday’s livestream, People aren’t too sure what to make of the newly announced Fallout 76.

Jason Schreier of Kotaku took to Twitter to tell his followers not to expect Fallout 76 to be a new traditional single-player RPG leading people to believe it will center around multiplayer and base building.

In the trailer, the voice on the radio says, “When the fighting has stopped and the fallen have settled, you must rebuild.” leading people to believe that the game will center around some sort of settlement mechanics much like those in Fallout 4 and the mobile game Fallout Shelter. The in-game lore of Vault 76 speaks of it as a large population Vault which is supposed to open 20 years after the war with the intentions of expanding.

According to Reddit & Kotaku, the game is under development at both Bethesda Game Studios’ main office in Maryland and at the Austin office formerly known as Battlecry Studios. The studio behind the canceled game Battlecry.

Bethesda’s E3 press conference is on June 10 where we can hope to see more of the game. What do you think about Fallout 76?
